
Unleash your student's imaginations with an educational and entertaining field trip to the Gertrude Salzer Gordon Children's Museum in downtown La Crasse, Wisconsin.
When can we visit?
Two-hour field trips are scheduled on first-come, first-serve basis between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, Tuesdays through Fridays. The Museum is not open on Mondays.
What does a field trip cost?
$4.00 per child.
Up to 1 adult chaperone per three children are FREE when the required one chaperone for every five children is met. There is a $5.00 per missing chaperone fee.
The group rate will not be given without pre-registration.
A non-refundable $15.00 deposit is required with registration (deductible from balance upon final payment).
What will we see?
Your self-guided tour will include an orientation by Museum staff and an interactive presentation (contact Museum for details), after which you will explore the Museum at your own pace.

Every 2-hour field trip for groups of 15 or more K-5 students includes the option for an interactive presentation (approx. 20 minutes).

- Weather (presented by WKBT meteorologist)
- Fire Safety (presented by La Crosse Fire Department)
- Pet Therapy (presented by Coulee Region Humane Society)
- Clicky Internet safety (presented by La Crosse Co. Sheriff's Dept.)
- Child Safety (presented by La Crosse County Safe Kids)
- Our lunch room is available for a $35 fee; however, Cameron Park across the street offers a great fair-weather picnic opportunity.
