 The Children's Museum of La Crosse is our region's first and only hands-on learning environment for children ages 1 to 12 years and their adult companions. Open since February 28, 1999, the Children's Museum of La Crosse celebrates the value of play via three floors of hands-on exhibits plus related programming and more.
Our Mission:To provide a hands-on, interactive environment for all children—a family place where the young and the young at heart can explore, create, experiment and exercise their imaginations.

Thursdays, July 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30: A-B-C Learners' Club for ages 1-5 with parent. 10:30 - 11:15 am. Play and hands-on learning, snack, story. $1 per child + admission. Pre-registration requested. Max. 15 children per session.
July 4: Drawing of BIG Giggle raffle winners at 6:10 pm in the Riverfest Food/Beverage tent (need not be present to win.) Win BIG and support the mission of the Museum! The top prizes: His & Hers Honda Scooters, 4-person hot tub from Paradise Pool & Spa, $1000 savings bond from Coulee Bank, Trek bike & helmet from Smith's Cycling & Fitness, Great Getaway package from Metropolitan Salon & Day Spa or $100 cash! Only $5 per raffle ticket or 7 for $25. Purchase at Children's Museum or on July 3 or 4 at our tent at the entrance to Riverfest (State and Front Streets).
Monday-Wednesday, July 20, 21 & 22: Camp Curiosity "Heroes Among Us", 8:30 to 11:30 am. For ages 4-7 without adult. Create your own superhero, meet real-life heroes, tour a fire station (4-block walk from Museum), complete special missions and more. What's YOUR super power? $50 for Museum members / $60 for non-members (includes T-shirt and snack) Pre-registration and pre-payment required.
Friday, July 24: Freaky Friday "Art Tech", 8:30 am-4:30 pm. For ages 7-11 without adult. Turn trash into treasure. Reduce, reuse and recycle while creating unique works of art. $40 for Museum members, $50 for non-Members (includes snack; campers should bring a sack lunch). Pre-registration and pre-payment required.
Saturday, July 25: Martial Arts America, 10:30-11:15 am Parent/child workout program. Free with Museum admission; Pre-registration requested.
